Dior Couture Spring 2021 Collection is breathtaking! Maria Grazia Chiuri, the creative director of Dior, unveiled her spring-summer 2021 line, which was inspired by the divine deck of cards, both literally and metaphorically. “In uncertain times marked by a profound desire to reconnect with the world’s soul, Maria Grazia Chiuri wished to explore the mystical and pluralistic beauty of the tarot in a collection of dresses featuring virtuoso constructions,” the brand said in a press release. The campaign is a confirmation that couture remains the ultimate territory of novelty and imagination.
So, even if you don’t know what a major or minor arcana is, the clothes speak for themselves. Chiuri’s strengths are enhanced by fantasy. Her signature gowns are nipped at the waist, some with matching capes for fairy-tale fodder, others with hand-painted illustrations by Roman artist Pietro Ruffo. It’s perfect for middle-aged ladies who enjoy wearing evening gowns. A medieval white horse was also included in the lookbook, further immersing the collection in fantasy.
