Dua Lipa, Demi Moore, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and other celebrities joined the British fashion industry at the Royal Albert Hall in London yesterday November 29, 2021, for The Fashion Awards, which honoured the world’s best designers and other creatives.
For the first time since 2019, the event functioned as both a pleasant reunion and a heartfelt monument to African American designer Virgil Abloh, whose untimely death yesterday continues to linger.

Idris Elba, a close friend of Abloh’s, gave a moving tribute to the designer and read a poem by Maya Angelou called “When Great Trees Fall,”; while presenters such as Adut Akech, Alton Mason, and host Billy Porter handed out awards chosen by British editors, stylists, buyers, and other members of the fashion press.
